What we collect

When you sign up for the newsletter, we collect your email address and the state your property is in. That's it. We don't ask for your name, your address, or anything else, and nothing else on the site asks you to submit personal information.

How we use it

Your email address is used to send you the newsletter and nothing else. Your state is used to understand where readers are located, so future issues and features can be more useful to the landowners actually reading them. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

Where it's stored

Signups are stored with Resend, the service we use to send email. Resend has its own privacy policy covering how it handles that data on our behalf.

Analytics

We use GoatCounter to see how many people visit the site. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't collect any personal information, which is why this site doesn't need a cookie-consent banner.

Unsubscribing

Every issue we send includes an unsubscribe link. Using it removes you from future sends immediately.

Your data, your call

If you want to see what we have on file for you, or want it deleted, write to the address below. We'll handle it directly, since there's no self-serve portal for this yet.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
